Josh Cormier is the owner and Designated Broker of Weichert, REALTORS - Cormier & Associates. Josh was raised in South Boise, Idaho and attended Mountain View High School and Boise State University. He graduated from BSU in 2015 with a health science degree and planned to pursue a career as a physical therapist. That was, until the real estate bug bit. Josh purchased his first investment property in 2016, a Northwest Boise duplex. He represented himself and enjoyed the process in what was otherwise a complicated transaction. He acquired his real estate license shortly thereafter and began a rewarding career as a REALTOR. In 2018 Josh founded his own brand "Property Hunters," and in 2019 sought to open his own brokerage. After extensive research into the industry of real estate franchises, he discovered Weichert, REALTORS -- a New Jersey based company and the largest privately owned brokerage in the world. Weichert's simple sales philosophy that "people buy people before they buy product or service," aligned perfectly with Josh's sale's philosophy. Weichert had a strong value proposition for real estate agents and clients alike, a reputation for high quality service, a history of sound business practices and importantly -- they lacked a presence in Idaho. Property Hunters partnered with Weichert Real Estate Affiliates in 2020 and established Idaho's first Weichert, REALTORS office. Josh Cormier specializes in single family homes and large acreage rural build lots. He's facilitated residential infill development deals and has listed luxury homes in excess of $1 million.
